Eurocadres project ‘Improving working conditions in research’

Research and development are drivers of Europe’s economic and social growth. Despite progress such as the European Research Area and increased employment figures, challenges such as insufficient funding, precarious working conditions and a lack of equality remain. The final report summarises the results of an online survey, interviews and workshops. The guidelines developed offer concrete recommendations for politicians, institutions and employee representatives – for sustainable research in Europe.
