wmp consult carried out research on the effects of inflation on sectoral collective bargaining in France and Germany. Based on desk research and interviews with sectoral social partners in the chemical and metal industry as well as the hospitality sector, wmp analyzed sectoral collective agreements comparing different approaches of how rising inflation was dealt with.
