Wages and working conditions of posted workers in the European Union
The study provides an in-depth analysis of national practices regarding the wage-setting under the Posted Workers Directive and its impact on minimum rates of pay as well as actual wage conditions of posted workers in Belgium, Demark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Sweden. Furthermore, four economic sectors where analysed in detail: construction, road transport, care services and temporary agency work. The study is based on quantitative as well as qualitative analyses, namely interviews with key actors in government, labour administration and social partner organisation in the respective EU member states and at EU level.
